Those numbers are guideposts, not the whole test: we also look for people who contribute openly, share their experience and relationships generously, and want to build real connections—not just find their next customer.
How is Speakeasy different from EO, YPO, Vistage, or BNI?
Speakeasy combines a curated, monthly in-person mastermind in your city with access to a wider network of entrepreneurs across chapters. The local meeting is the center of the membership: members bring real decisions and challenges to the room, exchange experience, and help each other think clearly. Speakeasy is not organized around referral quotas, required pitches, or business-card exchanges. Each organization has its own model, so the best choice depends on the format and community you want.
Is Speakeasy a networking or referral group?
Speakeasy is a peer mastermind community, not a referral group. Members may make introductions, share opportunities, and do business together, but there are no referral quotas or required pitches. The first priority is building trusted relationships and contributing to the room; business can grow from those relationships over time.
How much does Speakeasy membership cost, and what’s included?
Standard Speakeasy membership is $5,995 per year. It includes monthly in-person meetings in your home chapter, dinner and drinks at those meetings, access to the global community and other chapter meetings, Insider Sessions, virtual connection events, meeting insights, the member directory, AI-powered knowledge search, and member offers and resources. Some launching chapters may offer special founding-member pricing.
Can I bring my business partner to Speakeasy?
Yes. We encourage members to bring their business partners. You can add your business partner to your membership for an additional $1,000 per year.
What happens during a monthly Speakeasy meeting?
A typical Speakeasy chapter meeting lasts about three hours and brings together 15–30 carefully curated entrepreneurs for dinner, drinks, and a focused mastermind conversation. Members discuss current business decisions, opportunities, and challenges, then draw on the room for feedback, fresh perspectives, shared experience, and introductions. There are no guest speakers or required sales pitches; the members and the conversation are the focus.
