Marni Hale is a strategic advisor, fractional executive, and bestselling author with more than 20 years of experience helping businesses simplify, focus, and grow. She began her career with global brands including Mercedes-Benz USA and Bosch, then served as VP of Marketing at Tom Ferry, where her strategic growth leadership helped scale the company from $8 million to $30 million in four years. She later led marketing at SaaS company LionDesk, which successfully exited two years after she joined. Today, she is the founder of Move the Needle and the author of Simplify to Amplify.
As Orange County’s Captain, Marni brings a sharp, practical perspective to the room—helping founders and CEOs cut through complexity, get clear on what matters most, and move forward with greater confidence. She creates an environment where members can challenge assumptions, share real-world insight, and turn good ideas into focused action that actually moves the needle.

John Westley

John Westley is a founder, operator, and business strategist with deep experience helping founder-led companies turn ambitious ideas into businesses that can actually support them. He spent 13 years helping grow Tom Ferry International from roughly $6 million to more than $80 million in revenue, later served as President of Jon Gordon Companies, and is now building Growth That Holds, a consulting firm focused on business architecture, operating systems, and decision clarity.
As Orange County’s Co-Captain, John brings a natural curiosity for the messy middle between a great idea and a business that truly works. He enjoys pulling apart complex problems, comparing notes with smart people, and helping uncover the real issue underneath the noise. Members gain a room built for candid conversation, sharper thinking, practical insight, and those breakthrough moments when the path forward suddenly becomes clear.

Most members qualify through one of three paths: they lead a business generating at least $1,000,000 in annual gross revenue; they are solopreneurs earning at least $200,000 in annual personal income; or they have recently built and exited a significant company.
These are guideposts, not the only factors. We also consider each person’s experience, accomplishments, growth trajectory, mindset, and potential contribution to the group.

How much does membership cost?
Membership is $5,995 per year. But you don't need to make a membership decision before experiencing Speakeasy.
Who qualifies?
Most members own businesses generating $1M+ annually, or earn $200K+ per year as an owner, or recently exited a company. We also consider experience, trajectory, accomplishments, and what you'll bring to the room.
Is this networking?
No. There are no pitches, referral quotas, or business-card exchanges. Members absolutely do business together - but relationships come first.
What happens at my first meeting?
You attend the actual Orange County mastermind. You'll share dinner and drinks, meet the members, and participate in the conversation.
Is my first meeting really complimentary?
Yes. If you're approved, you're our guest.
What happens after I request an invitation?
